VOLUNTEERS
Have you ever wanted to do something rewarding but did not want to be “tied down”? Volunteering at our library is the answer! We occasionally have jobs for dependable people that are willing to give to their community. Please see the director for more details.
The Friends of the Shepherd Public Library is a non-profit organization that works together with the library to provide a variety of different services. The Friends give financial support, volunteer support and even become a hospitality committee when necessary.
In the ‘80s Friends of the Shepherd Library raised the money to buy the building where the library is currently located and has continued to provide support over the years. You can call the library for more information, email the director, or come by the library to pick up a member registration form today.
